Reduce a photo or signature to the file size a form requires, and set the width and height in pixels, millimetres or inches.

Everything runs in your browser. Your files are never uploaded.

Target size
Resize (optional)

Fill in one side to keep the proportions. Fill in both for an exact size; the image is cropped from the centre to fit.

Results are saved as JPG. Transparent areas become white.

How to use

  1. 1Add one or more images.
  2. 2Choose the target size, for example 50 KB, and set the dimensions if the form requires them.
  3. 3Press Compress, compare the result with the original and download it.

Frequently asked questions

How do I compress a photo to under 50 KB?
Add the photo, choose 50 KB and press Compress. The tool keeps the highest quality that fits under the limit.
Will the result be exactly the target size?
It will be at or just under the target, which is what upload forms check. Quality is lowered first and the image is only made smaller if that is not enough.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Compression happens on your device and the files never leave your browser.
What do mm, inch and DPI mean here?
Some forms give the photo size in millimetres or inches. Enter that size and the DPI the form mentions, usually 200 or 300, and the tool converts it to pixels.
